A counterfeit product is an unauthorized imitation or reproduction of a product bearing the trademark of the original rights owner.

End-to-end encryption ensures only you and the person you're communicating with can read or listen to what is sent, and nobody in between, not even WhatsApp. WhatsApp has no ability to see the content of messages that are end-to-end encrypted.
